At St. Stephen’s on the Hill, our foundational motto is "Love Grows Here"—and nowhere is that more evident than in our children’s ministry!
Kids Club is a warm, joyful, and inclusive community where all children are welcomed, valued, and loved exactly as they are.
We believe that children are not just the future of the church—they are an integral part of our community right now!
Come as You Are
Kids are naturally active and curious. We believe the sound of children in worship is not a distraction. It is evidence of life, growth and the future of the church.
How Sunday Morning Works
Children begin the morning in the main sanctuary with their families. Early in the worship service, they participate in our welcome, land acknowledgement and passing the peace of Christ, then they are dismissed to Kids Club.
Flexible Options
If a child isn't ready to leave the sanctuary, that is completely okay! We have a dedicated area at the back of the sanctuary stocked with coloring materials and activities so kids can stay with their parents while remaining happily occupied.
What to Expect at Kids Club
Child-Directed & Adaptive
Every week is fluid and responsive to the group. If the kids come in brimming with energy, we play active games. If they are in a creative mood, we dive into crafts and hands-on projects. We follow the children's interests while exploring the teachings of Jesus in meaningful ways.
Outdoor Adventures
When the weather is nice, we love to take our learning and play outside into the fresh air!
Sensory-Friendly Support
We know that bright rooms and big groups can sometimes feel overwhelming. Inside our Sunday School room, we offer a dedicated quiet space with fidget tools and calming activities for any child who needs a sensory break.
Safety & Care
Your child's safety is our priority. We maintain a strict policy where at least two caring adult leaders are present with the children at all times.
Join Us This Sunday!
Whether your child wants to craft, run around, sit quietly, or stay by your side in the sanctuary, there is a place for them here.
At St. Stephen’s on the Hill, love grows—and we can't wait to grow together with your family.
