Worship Services

The congregation of St. Stephen's-on-the-Hill gathers for worship on Sundays at 10:30.

Our regular worship services are an exciting combination of prayer, scripture, music and preaching. We are regularly led by our minister, the Rev. Dale Skinner. From time to time, especially during the summer, members of our congregation provide different insights into the message of God, or we listen to the Word from a visiting preacher. Regardless, all visitors are welcome to join for worship and we are sure we will all benefit from your presence.

Our vigorous Church School is led by our Church School Co-ordinator, Jennifer Auty, and a dedicated group of talented volunteer services. The children start out each Sunday in the sanctuary for opening prayers and messages, then move on to their classes. Visiting children are welcome to join the regulars for an exciting program of singing and acting, arts and crafts and learning.

We regularly tape record our services. Shut-ins, or those who missed a service, are welcome to borrow the tapes. If you wish, we would be glad to arrange to deliver them to you on a regular schedule. If you would like a permanent record of a special service, we would be happy to make a copy. The tapes are recycled after a time, so please contact the church office as soon as possible after the service to make the arrangements.

Some of our services are have special events. The following table lists the special services that are currently scheduled.
